The vision of the Summer Institute on Theology and Disability is to expand the depth and breadth of theological inquiry and resources that address and include the gifts, needs, and contributions of people with disabilities and their families to theological learning and religious practice.
The 2016 Summer Institute on Theology and Disability will be held at and in Holland, Michigan, May 23-26, 2016. The Institute brings together academics, theologians and others to explore the inclusive intersections of faith and disabilities.
May 23 “Community Day†– Can’t make it for all four days? Sample the institute at Community Day, featuring SI-TED talks by the Summer Institute faculty and more.
May 24-26 – These days include major presentations each day, discussion with speakers, discussion groups arranged around core issues of interest to participants, morning and afternoon meditation, 30 workshops led by Institute participants, and our Ph.D. student symposiums.
