Ben and his wife and daughter live in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. He is the pastor of a small church at Curve Lake First Nation, a chaplain at Trent University, and the Interim Executive Director of Kawartha Youth For Christ. He has a Bachelor of Political Studies from Trent University and a Master of Theological Studies and a Doctor of Ministry from Tyndale University. His doctoral research involved the training of First Nations mentors using collaborative planning and teaching methods.
