Mark Stover
Associate Professor; Director of Choral Activities
Mark Stover is a music professor and the director of choral activities at Calvin University. He joined Calvin in 2024, after serving for six years as associate director of choirs at the University of Michigan. While there, he led the Men’s Glee Club on tour in South America and in the world premiere performance of a choral work at Lincoln Center in New York City. He previously served on the music faculty at St. Olaf College, where he conducted the St. Olaf Chapel Choir and Viking Chorus. He has also served as artistic director and choir director for the Together In Hope Project. Stover holds degrees from St. Olaf College, Luther Seminary, and Michigan State University.
